40 Jahre Judo und eine neue Halle
“40 Jahre Judo und eine neue Halle – Das ist Grund genug zu feiern!”, so stand es auf der Einladung, der einige Aktive, Eltern, Ehemalige, Judoka anderer Bremer Vereine als auch ein paar Zeitungsvertreter gefolgt sind. Die SAV-Judoabteilung präsentierte stolz ihre nagelneue Trainingsstätte in der Hermann-Löns-Str. und ließ gleichzeitig 40 Jahre Judo Revue passieren. Die Geschichte der Judo-Abteilung erzählten Marianne Könnecke und Volker Beringer ergänzt durch Beiträge einiger unserer Jugendlicher. So erfuhren viele zum ersten Mal, dass ursprünglich statt einer Judo- eine Tanzabteilung geplant gewesen war, worüber die Entscheidung offensichtlich zu all unserem Gunsten ausfiel. Ein Glück! 🙂 Außerdem gedachten wir noch einmal unserer “heißgeliebten” Halle in der Fröbelstraße, in der jahrelang von vielen fleißig trainiert wurde und einige andere Aktivitäten stattfanden. Dies wird nun ins neue Dojo verlagert, für welches es sogar bald ein paar neue Matten geben wird. Auch Aktivitäten außerhalb des Trainings sind in Planung. Abgerundet wurde der geschichtliche Vortrag durch ältere und aktuelle Bilder jeglicher Veranstaltungen, die an die Wand geworfen wurden. Hier war der eine oder andere durchaus überrascht wo überall Kameras dabei waren, als auch belustigt über die ganz alten Bilder, die noch existierten und ausgegraben wurden. Vor dem Essen gab es dann noch drei kleine Vorführungen zu powervoller Musik von den Judokas aus der Mittwochsgruppe. Für diese wurde in den Wochen vorher fleißig geübt und Judoanzüge “dekoriert”. Gedankt sei hier auch noch einmal allen Besuchern samt kleinen Präsenten. Wir hoffen uns in naher Zukunft einmal revanchieren zu können.
