Stadtpokal u10
Im Oktober nahm die Judo-Abteilung am Bremer Stadtpokal der Jugend u10 teil. Dort konnte Anna-Lena Busse noch einmal zeigen, was für ein gutes Wettkampfjahr 2016 für sie ist. Fast hätte sie auch das Finale ihrer Gewichtsklasse (-31,6 kg) gewonnen. Bis zum Ablauf der Kampfzeit stand es zwischen ihr und ihrer Gegnerin unentschieden. Beide Mädchen hatten ehrgeizig gekämpft und gute Wurfansätze gezeigt. Leider bewertete die Kampfrichterin die Ansätze der Gegnerin als besser, sodass Anna-Lena mit Silber knapp an der Goldmedaille vorbeischrappte. Luna Frenzel kämpfte in der selben Gewichtsklasse und belegte den 3. Platz. Daniil Frank und Timur Drepin belegtenn in ihren Gewichtsklassen Rang 4.
